I began my writing career as a staff writer on The Secret Circle before shifting to The Vampire Diaries for seasons 3 and 4. Julie Plec brought me with her to The Originals as a Story Editor and Exec. Story Editor for seasons 1 and 2 respectively. Despite being asked back for Season 3 of The Originals as a co-Producer, I decided to step away to focus on personal projects. I began as an assistant on The Vampire Diaries for Kevin Williamson day-one, season-one, so once I became a writer on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, I naturally took on many producer responsibilities to aid with casting, post, and various production needs. These experiences honed my writing and gave me an intimate understanding of all aspects of TV production.
